The Well of Seven Heads Store is a long, well established convenience and general store, now under new management, located on the A82 trunk road which links Glasgow, Fort William and Inverness. Opposite the shop is Loch Oich and the nearby parking and picnicking area. The loch is used for boating and water pursuits and forms part of the series of lochs linked by the Caledonian Canal designed by the renowned engineer Thomas Telford. The Great Glen Way has become popular with walkers and cyclists. The A82 passes the front of the shop and continues to Loch Ness.
The Well of Seven Heads (Tobar Nan Ceann) is a well known landmark in remembrance of one of Scotland's bloodiest Clan Feuds. For the story see the history page.
